Technopolis City of Athens is housed in the old gasworks plant of Athens, a unique industrial monument, transformed into the most vibrant cultural multispace in the heart of the city, open and accessible to all, with more than 1,000,000 visitors per year. The vision of Technopolis is to enhance the development of different communities and contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of the citizens in any possible way.

Concerts, exhibitions, performances, screenings, educational programs and actions of the Industrial Gas Museum, seminars and workshops dedicated to new technologies, initiatives for the development of entrepreneurship and innovation and events of social nature are only some of the 900 events that take place every year in Technopolis.

How to Get There

Technopolis City of Athens is easily accessible by car and public transportation.

Located in the center of Athens, the Technopolis is located in Athens' entertainment district of Gazi, not far from Kerameikos. It is about an 18-minute walk from Monastiraki Square or Omonia Square. The Kerameikos metro station is only a 3-minute walk from the cultural center. Visitors arriving from the Piraeus cruise port can go to the nearby Piraeus Metro Station and board the M1 line. A single ticket is sufficient for the 15-minute journey to Thisseio station. From there it is another 11 minutes on foot.
